Feel the Love All Year Round with Romantic Lace…

Since the 15th century lace has been seen at the very height of fashion, now in 2012 not much has changed! Since the beginning of the year when Louis Vuitton dressed Kate Moss in a gorgeous lace dress we knew that lace was going to be big this year.

So why not take a look at our fabulous range of lace looks here at Simply Be. For the summer, try out this flattering lace top, available in pastel pink you’ll not only look the part but also be flaunting one of the gorgeous pastel colours of the season:

If you prefer a subtler hint of lace, (because lets face it sometimes too much lace isn’t a good thing) check out our fantastic Frock and Frill Pleat Lace Trim dress, fantastic for both a casual day around the shops or a night out on the town. You can also accessorise with our fabulous lace head wrap. With head wraps all the rage at the moment you can’t go wrong!

Lace is also due to be big in autumn and winter this year, with the recent Valentino fashion show giving strong hints of darker coloured lace being a staple winter wardrobe item. Our beautiful navy blue lace tunic and elegant  contrast lace detail tunic, are both perfect for a casual feel without compromising on style:

If you’re heading to a party in the next few weeks and aren’t too sure what to wear, Simply Be predicts that our fabulous new vintage flapper dress will definitely leave you standing out from the crowd.

So what are you waiting for? Look fabulous this season and embrace the lace :)

Eco-chic… the recycled bag!

These days everyone has a recycle bin, we separate our paper from our plastics and send it all away to become something new. And now, you can get it back again! Not as newspaper or a magazine, but as fashion’s most eco-friendly accessory! Oh yes, allow us to introduce the Recycled Bag!

They’re made in the Philippines, out of recycled fruit juice cartons (which explains all those gorgeous bright colours!) And don’t worry, it’s fair trade, so you can still sleep at night!

Every one is totally different, no one bag the same – so you really are getting a one-off! You can choose from doctor’s bags, shoulder bags, handbags and clutches – there’s even a travel bag, for weekends away and holidays abroad! And they all have that same standout style, with bright rainbow colours and a totally unique pattern!

So now you’re can do your bit for the environment and look totally on-trend – it’s a win-win situation!

An accessory must!

As every fashionable plus size girl knows, accessories are essential. So when we saw the new Spring belt trend on the London Fashion Week catwalks, we just knew you were going to love it!

This season it’s all about knotting your belts. To do it, just tie a knot – or if your belt isn’t long enough, do it up as normal and fold the excess strap over the buckle then tuck it behind your belt.

Next season, it’s all about super-sizing – but instead of wearing really big belts, we’re going to be adding more! Different colours, different sizes and different patterns – layer them on for a SS11 look that will flatter your plus size figure! Remember, waists are totally feminine, so show yours off!

And if you want to see the trend in action on the London Fashion Week Catwalks, just take a look at all the gorgeous shots from Paul Smith’s show! Now isn’t that just the classiest way to wear a belt?

Want to start working the trend? Take a look at all the gorgeous belts in Simply Be’s Plus Size Fashion Collection!
